New-Site-Example-Comparison

Kent State Website

University Communications and Marketing's Web team serves as the starting point for departments and faculty members across campuses that would like to take advantage of the university's content management system (CMS) to develop and maintain their own websites. Currently, templates which integrate with the institutional website’s redesign and support the university's visual identity program, are available at no charge.  Access to the CMS, is provided as a courtesy of the Division of Information Services.

Please note we are transitioning to a new CMS platform and will have limited resources for redesign projects at this time.

Web team's website services include:

Success Stories

If you have a success story that you'd like featured on the university's home page let us know! UCM's writers can help develop the story and photographers can capture professional images to go with it.

Home Page News (Updates and Events)

We post content to Kent State University's home page news and events on a weekly basis. Here are some basic guidelines for home page news postings:

  • News items must be targeted to university community AND the general public
  • News items typically remain active for a one-week period except during peak times
  • News items typically showcase upcoming events, not events that have already occurred
If your request meets these standard guidelines, submit your information for consideration using our online form.
