To incoming freshmen considering PLA…
“Being selected as a member of PLA has been one of the best experiences. It definitely allows you to learn things about the university that is extremely helpful as a freshman, including information that other members of the student body won't know for months. You will meet people who share the same interests, and share experiences with them and other members such as a KSU production of "Grease", playing on the volleyball team, or even dinner at the Provost's house.“

To incoming freshmen considering PLA…
“To be in a small selection of leaders is a phenominal opportunity. The meetings are once a week, and do not take up much time. There are so many great things that come out of being a member, but you have to join to find out what!”

Alex Evans (Member, 2010-2011; Mentor, 2011-2012)

Kara Owens (Member, 2010-2011; Mentor, 2011-2012)
What he likes most about PLA…
“What I liked most about PLA was all the information and tips we got about the university. Also getting to meet all the people that are in charge of different aspects on campus was interesting, hearing how they think and the thought process it took to make some of these programs run so smoothly was very intriguing to me.”

Kimmy Micheller (Member, 2010-2011)

Kristen Durkin (Member, 2010-2011)
On her experience in PLA…
“I recommend the program to everyone! It’s a great resume booster and does not require a lot of time, so you would not have to worry about over loading during your freshman year…I loved getting inside information that is not normally presented to the student body. It helped me transition into my first year and I wasn’t forced to learn by experience, the information was given to me. ”
