As a student at Kent State University, you have important personal and community responsibilities.
Understanding your obligations is critical to your success as an individual student and to the overall success of Kent State.
Student resources are available to you in the following offices and services.
The "Fab Fourth" and Commuter Lounge
The fourth floor of the University Library has been renovated into a space for students to study, relax and connect with others. It also features the Writing Commons, the university’s writing center, and UCommute, a center for commuter students that provides a "home away from home." UCommute offers staffing and a special location for commuter and off-campus students. It is open anytime the library is open.
University Health Services
Located in the DeWeese building on Eastway Drive, University Health Services (UHS) provides non-emergent outpatient care to all eligible students, faculty and staff including examination and treatment for illness and minor injuries, women's health care, laboratory, x-ray, physical therapy, pharmacy services, and health education. UHS accepts all KSU employee health plans and other major carriers. Self-pay rates are available for uninsured patients.
