The graduate certificates are good options for those who already have an advanced degree, but wish to make a shift in their careers or add to their skills. Both certificates require a completed bachelor's degree and are 18 credit hours.
Certificate in Health Informatics
The Certificate in Health Informatics provides competencies and knowledge in health information systems, health records management, clinical decision support systems and other areas relevant to developing and refining competencies in health informatics. Students must complete 6 courses totaling 18 credits to successfully complete the Certificate program, five of which are required.
Certificate in Knowledge Management
The KM certificate is for individuals seeking to improve skills and employment opportunities in the knowledge management field. Online courses link students, instructors, and guest speakers on a global scale and offer the flexibility of coursework completion at times convenient to the student.
