About Me:
I have been a Personal Trainer since 2005 and a Group Fitness Instructor since 2007.  Being active has always been a part of my life, specifically in the realms of dance and fitness.  For this reason I had no doubt that I wanted to pursue my desire to continue helping people in these areas when I moved to Ohio. It has always been my passion to motivate people to be active and healthy. Although lifestyle change can be a big challenge to most clients, I am committed to help and encourage them to reach their goals. I train clients of various ages and fitness levels with an expertise in cardiovascular endurance, strength, flexibility, functional training and senior fitness.  To me, nothing is more gratifying than helping people achieve their fitness and wellness goals. In my spare time, I love to swim, dance, read, and play scrabble with my husband and kids.  When I am not teaching fitness classes, doing personal training or going to workshops and certifications to update my skills and knowledge, I love to travel and explore new places.

Trainer Level: Master Trainer
Educational Background: B.S. in Physical Education at the Catholic University of Brasilia, Dom Bosco College
Certifications: ACE Personal Training Certification & P.A.C.E. and Fibromyalgia Self Help Certified through the Arthritis Foundation.
About Me: My areas of interest include weight management, older populations, functional strength, special populations (osteoporosis, diabetes, etc) and sports conditioning. I always have been a strong proponent of self health and wellness, and of educating those around me. There must be a balance between exercise and nutrition in wellness programs in order to combat obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis and other ailments. I believe that transforming a body into better shape and creating a healthier body takes a commitment to make a lifestyle change. That means a change you can live with. My goal is to help others successfully make that change.

Certifications: American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer. Certified by the American Red Cross in CPR and AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens.
About Me: The most important thing anyone can have in life, to maintain and improve upon, is health and fitness. In my eyes, if you lack in either of these areas, changes need to be made. Throughout my life, I have always shown a strong interest in health and fitness. These interests of mine eventually lead me to pursue and obtain a degree in Exercise Science. After taking several college courses, I decided to obtain my Personal Training certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). My areas of interest include total lifestyle modification, improvements in all aspects of physical fitness (body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility), sports specific training, beginner training, kids, adults, older adults, etc. I am confident in teaching all types of clients to maintain, improve, and transform their bodies to fit their personal goals. I will accomplish this by using the knowledge, skills, and abilities I have acquired over the years to improve the quality of life for many. I understand that obtaining health and fitness can be taxing, very stressful, and may not all come at once. That is why I promise to dedicate myself, and provide the most beneficial personal training possible. With your cooperation and dedication to the program, anything is possible.

Through positive motivation, I hope to inspire my clients to accomplish all their goals, reach their fitness and physique potential, and enjoy themselves while doing it! My goal as a personal trainer is to provide my clients with all required knowledge to set a foundation for them to develop habits to pursue a healthy and happy lifestyle. Oliver Harper
Trainer Level: Base Trainer
Educational Background: Stow-Munroe Falls high school 2008. Kent State graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, currently enrolled in last semester of Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology.
Certifications: INBF Amateur Bodybuilder, ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, American Red Cross CPR, First-Aid, and AED Certification.
About Me: As a trainer I have experience working with athletes in sports ranging from football, baseball, and mixed martial arts. Also I work with a faculty wellness program on campus as a group exercise instructor for men, women, young and older adults who have a variety of limitations due to injuries and other circumstances. From these experiences I have become very comfortable with a diverse array of clientele and exercise modalities to target strength, conditioning, weight loss and performance improvement while modifying the program to cater to specific needs. I am passionate about fitness and interested in utilizing my education in improving my client’s bodies, minds and overall quality of life. I aim to not only provide an effective and safe exercise prescription, but to also inform clients as to why I use the methods that I use. Fitness as a lifestyle means more to me than time spent in the weight room; it includes the choices that are made during the remaining parts of the day. I want my clients to feel comfortable in contacting me whenever needed to get the full benefit of utilizing a health and fitness professional.
