December 2013

Kent State University is in the process of implementing a project called Pathfinder. Pathfinder is Kent State's name for the Student Success Collaborative software, a product developed by the Education Advisory Board (EAB).  Pathfinder uses data analytics, predictive modeling, and benchmarking based on actual KSU historical data to support students in their path to graduation by identifying at-risk students and can assist students in changing majors, when appropriate.

In early 2014, the university will begin to pilot Pathfinder with the School of Visual Communication Design, the College of Architecture and Environmental Design, Exploratory majors, and at Kent State University at Ashtabula.
