Aaron Hanlin

Coordinator of Admissions

Aaron currently serves as the Coordinator of Admissions at the Kent State University Honors College where he is responsible for overseeing and directing the admissions process for incoming Honors students. In addition to admissions, he is also responsible for Honors College advertising and marketing as well as the Honors website. Hanlin currently serves as the advisor for the Honors student magazine Brainchild and co-advisor of the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society.

An Honors College alumnus, Aaron received both his bachelor's degree in communication studies and master's degree in higher education administration and student personnel from Kent State University. Aaron served as an academic advisor for the Honors College from 2011-2013 during which time he also assisted with the coordination of honors orientation and served in the capacity of coordinator for the Honors College living-learning community as well as coordinator for the Kent State regional campus Honors programs.

Aaron is currently pursuing a doctor of philosophy in educational psychology with a concentration in instructional technology. His interests include higher education, honors education, online teaching and learning, organizational development, and technology integration.
