If the event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, we will inform you of the cancellation via email and post information on the www.kent.edu website.
Directions to the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center Kent Student Center are available online.
The doors will open approximately 60 minutes prior to the event.
An elevator is located in the main lobby. It services the second floor and the Blue and Gold Loge.
Emergencies and Evacuation Procedures
In the event of a serious emergency, all event staff, ushers and law enforcement are available to assist guests, including those with disabilities. Information could also be provided over the public address system.
If assistance is needed, please contact the nearest Usher or Event Staff personnel.
There are a number of parking options. The visitor's lot in front of the MAC Center (Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center) located at 1025 Risman Drive, Kent, Ohio 44242 has limited space and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Schwartz Center parking lot is located across Summit Street. Walkways provide easy access to the Kent Student Center.
A shuttle will run from the Schwartz Center parking lot to the MAC Center.
The program will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The following items are not permitted:
- Animals - other than those used as a service animal
- Baby Strollers
- Bags (larger than 14" x 14)
- Laser pointers, whistles or noisemakers
- Signs, banner or posters
- Smoking only allowed outside
- Weapons of any kind

Smoking is prohibited inside in the MAC Center. Smoking is also defined to include any and all electronic cigarettes or e-cigarettes.
Setting up a promotional space and/or distributing banners, booklets, business cards, circulars, commercial advertising, flyers, folders, handbills, leaflets, notices, pamphlets, posters, stickers, or any other written, printed and/or painted materials in or around the MACC and campus without the permission of Kent State University is prohibited.
General Admissions tickets for this event are free, except for the chair back seats which may be purchased for $15. A valid ticket for the event is required for admittance. Tickets will not be printed on site.
