Kent State Greek Life Honors 2014

Kent State Greek Life, which is part of the Center for Student Involvement family, hosted Closing Ceremonies on April 28th in the Kent Student Center Ballroom.  This event celebrates and recognizes the students and chapters for their contributions to the city of Kent, the university and the greater community.

“This has been an incredible year for Kent State Greek life,” said Meredith Bielaska, Assistant Director for Greek Affairs. “Our overall membership increased and our philanthropy numbers, in both service hours and funds raised, were the highest they’ve ever been.”

There are 31 fraternity and sororities, with over 1700 active members, represented at Kent State University. The Kent State Greek community donates over 22,000 service hours annually and fundraises over $300,000 for local and national organizations each year.
