NCSF Personal Training Course Offered at the East Liverpool CampusPosted Jul. 14, 2014
Kent State University at East Liverpool is offering a personal training course this fall. This three credit hour course, PTST 21095 ST, has no prerequisites and teaches students about the body, fitness, exercise and nutrition. Students will learn everything they need to know to improve their own health and fitness, or to take the optional exam and become a certified personal trainer.
All students who complete the course are eligible to sit for the Personal Training Certification examination through the National Council on Strength and Fitness (www.ncsf.org). The cost of the exam is $249 and is not included in the course fees.
The personal training course can be taken as a three credit hour elective by Kent State students, or as a non-credit continuing education course by community members. Those wanting to take the course without earning college credit should contact Lisa McNicol at firstname.lastname@example.org or 330-382-7567.
