Two prominent Kent State University alumni addressed new graduates at the university’s Fall 2009 Commencement Ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 19, in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center. An evening ceremony for those receiving doctoral degrees was held Thursday, Dec. 17, in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. Degrees were conferred on more than more than 1,500 graduates.


Thursday, Dec. 17, at 6 p.m.

Speaker: Dr. Katherine Rawson, Assistant Professor in Kent State’s Department of Psychology and a 2009 recipient of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers
