Watch Student Forum on Issue 3 with Dan Gilbert and Rob WalgatePosted Oct, 26, 2009
Kent State University hosted a student forum and debate regarding Issue 3 on Monday, Oct. 26. Students from several area universities asked questions relating to the issue to Dan Gilbert, majority owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers and chairman and founder of Quicken Loans, and Rob Walgate, director of the Ohio Roundtable. The event called “Gaming in Ohio – A Student Forum on Issue 3” gave college students an opportunity to ask their questions and get more informed about the issue.
The event was organized by the Kent State University Hospitality Management Program.
NOTE: Due to illness, Dan Gilbert was unable to participate in this forum. Dennis Eckart, a former Ohio congressman, took Gilbert’s place representing supporters of Issue 3.
