World-Renowned Mexican Chef Visits Kent State on April 19Posted Apr, 15, 2010
World-renowned Mexican chef, restaurateur and cookbook author Roberto Santibañez, who has been featured on such shows as “The Today Show” and “The Martha Stewart Show,” will be visiting Kent State University for a special celebration of Mexican culture and cuisine on Monday, April 19.
Santibañez will be at Eastway Café from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Kent Student Center Ballroom Balcony, located on the 3rd floor, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. His appearances include cookbook signings, special tastings and cooking demonstrations. Both events are free and open to the public.
“This is a wonderful chance to meet a true culinary celebrity and experience the authentic tastes and culture of Mexico,” said Autum Piller, marketing manager of Kent State Dining Services.
