College of Technology Celebrates Graduates with Vision 21 Awards Banquet (04/21/2009)

The College of Technology at Kent State University will hold its 11th Annual Vision 21 Awards Banquet on May 2, 2009, at the Kent Student Center in the second floor dining room. The reception will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 7 p.m. This event will honor College of Technology graduates who have both set a standard of high achievement in their career and participated in meaningful community service.

“This is a highly anticipated annual event which shines a bright light on our most outstanding alumni,” says College of Technology Director of Advancement John DeCola. “This year’s celebration is bigger and better than ever.”

In addition to the Vision 21 honorees, Professor George Schneider will receive the Clinton Van Deusen Award to recognize his work at bridging the gap between industry and academia, his publications and his generous philanthropy.
