This Thursday, our own Jamie Hartz will be running a session aimed at anyone who is attending—or thinking of attending—this year’s ATA (American Translators Association) conference. Jamie, who attended last year's conference, will share helpful tips and info for first-time attendees.
This event will be held this Thursday, September 18, at 2:45 pm in Satterfield Hall 108.
9/20/2014: NOTA Annual Dinner & MemoQ Workshop
The Northeast Ohio Translators Association (NOTA), a professional development organization for translators and interpreters, is holding an introductory workshop on MemoQ (a popular computer-assisted translation tool) in Kent on Saturday, September 20. The workshop will be followed by NOTA's annual dinner, a good opportunity to network and meet some people who work in the industry.
For more information, contact your KentLingua Officers.
If you are interested in participating, please RSVP to Vitaliy Plinto (firstname.lastname@example.org) by September 13, at 3 pm.
