Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training Offered at Kent State

Kent State University has announced the fall 2010 schedule for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training and Certification programs. Lean Six Sigma tools can be used in companies to eliminate waste, reduce variation in processes and eliminate defects. Lean Six Sigma is a business methodology that teaches organizations a new way to think about everyday work. It is a purposeful elimination of wasteful activities and can be deployed in every aspect of any organization. Lean Six Sigma includes a set of statistical tools to give practitioners data to make sound business decisions.

Program schedule:
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training and Certification – Health Care and Service Concentration
will be held at The University Center, Kent State University at Stark, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in North Canton, Ohio, on the following dates from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day.

  • Sept. 20 - 24
  • Oct. 18 - 22
  • Nov. 1 - 5
  • Dec. 6 - 10

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training and Certification will be held at the Radisson Hotel Cleveland Airport, 25070 Country Club Boulevard, North Olmsted, Ohio, on the following dates from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day. 

  • Sept. 27 - Oct. 1
  • Oct. 18 - 22
  • Nov. 15 - 19
  • Dec. 13 - 17
