My career began working as a medical assistant while attending Kent State University where, in 1989, I obtained a Bachelor of General Studies degree. After working in corporate America for a few years and starting a family, I worked as a volunteer and substitute teacher for the Kent City School system for 15 years.
Before coming to work at Kent State, I was employed with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Cleveland where I tracked TNT accounts and planned events. My husband and I own multiple rental properties in the Kent/Ravenna area, which can keep us quite busy. I’m also a yoga instructor at 200 RYT, working toward a 500 certification. My belief is “use it or lose it - Yoga is conducive to healthful aging”.
