Aimee Swartzlander is an Academic Advisor for the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kent State University and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from The University of Akron. Aimee began working at Kent State University in July 2010.
She is very passionate about helping students make the most of their college experience. College is not just about earning a degree but also discovering who you are as a person, you interests, your dreams. Besides being a full-time advisor she is also a full-time mother to an amazing little boy, enjoys reading,creative writing and loves the Cleveland Browns.
