Free Yourself from Old Gadgets -- E-CYCLE DRIVE coming to Kent State!

Have old electronics just lying around?  Or boxes of computer parts and cell phones that you’ve not touched since your last move? Before those obsolete dust collectors clutter your living space any longer (or worse, you toss them in the dumpster) the upcoming E-CYCLE DRIVE is your chance to free yourself from those outdated gadgets.

E-CYCLE DRIVE is taking place on the campus of Kent State University on Wednesday, March 13.  Powered by RET3 and KSU, the E-CYCLE DRIVE will collect just about anything with a cord.

Collection points will be available at two KSU campus locations. The Tri Towers Service Desk area and the Administrative Service Building (ASB) dock area -- ASB dock area is ideal for those that wish unload directly from a vehicle. The ASB dock location will collect from 7:00am until 3:00pm on March 13.  The Tri Towers Service Desk location will collect from 8:00am March 13 through the night until 8:00am March 14.

Why E-CYCLE?  Proper recycling of old electronics diverts thousands of pounds of waste from landfills, protects the environment, and conserves natural resources. RET3 is a non-profit operation dedicated to the environmentally friendly disposal of end-of-life electronic equipment. Backed by a no-landfill agreement, RET3’s methods are fully compliant with EPA standards -- so you can be sure that your unwanted equipment is disposed securely and responsibly.
