Employee Excellence Award

A special award program administered through the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (EMSA) to recognize our employees who provide exemplary service to Kent State University, its students, internal and/or external constituents of the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, or whose efforts enhance the focus of the Division's mission.


President's Excellence Award

The President's Excellence Award recognizes Kent State University staff who have demonstrated exceptional performance in advancing one of the goals of the university's excellence agenda .  Please visit the
President's Excellence Award website to submit your nominations during the designated nomination period.

Lifetime Achievement Award

The Lifetime Achievement Award was instituted in 2011 to honor individuals (living or deceased and no longer working at Kent State) who have devoted significant time and energies and whose actions bring to life the mission of the division. These former employees of the division can be nominated by anyone in EMSA.  The former employee may be from any department currently in the division or was in the division in the past (e.g.. Women's Center,Multi-Cutural Center...)   the Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to the award winners at the annual division breakfast held in the Spring.    Previous Lifetime Achievement Award Winners are:

New Employee Welcome Program (EMSA - NEW)

Instituted in Fall 2012, The Enrollment Management and Student Affairs New Employee Welcome program (EMSA-NEW) is designed to welcome new full time emploees and graduate students to our division.  The program will
include a welcoming meeting, opportunities for professional development, and the opportunity to have an EMSA 
buddy to help orient you to our large and diverse division.
