At Kent State Salem in particular, I love the fact that I get to know my students personally and often work with them individually, assisting and guiding them as they achieve things they never knew they could when they walked in the door as a new student.

My office at Kent State Salem is situated amongst many other faculty members from different disciplines. The interdisciplinary communication and intellectual stimulation this results in enhances my teaching and scholarship, and creates a rich and supportive experience for our students.
