It's Not Too Late to Get a Flu Shot

Posted Feb. 7, 2011

Just a reminder - influenza activity is increasing in the region, and several confirmed cases of flu have been recorded at Kent State recently. Influenza activity usually peaks in February in our area.

It is not too late to get a flu shot! Flu shots are available at the DeWeese Health Center for $15 for students and are covered by all Kent State employee health plans.

Contact the health center at 330-672-2322 if you would like to get a flu shot. More information about influenza is posted on the University Health Services website:

If you have several staff members who would like flu shots, please call health services and ask for Shelly Verba to schedule a convenient shot clinic in your department.
