If you are interested in applying for Kent State's Center for Innovation in Transition and Employment's (CITE) Transition to Work Endorsement Program, you must do all of the following:

  • Fill out the one page TTW Basic Information Sheet
  • Provide a recent resume
  • Provide three reference names with phone numbers (no letters needed)
  • A short statement describing your previous experience and coursework and why you are interested in the TTW program

Once you have completed your application materials, email them to Pete Flexer ( or Rachel McMahan Queen ( If you would rather use the US Mail, send your materials to either person at 150 Terrace Drive, 202 White Hall, Kent State University, Kent, OH 44242.

Once we have received and reviewed your application materials, you will be asked to come in for an interview. If accepted into the TTW program, you will need to apply to the College and Graduate School of Education, Health, and Human Services. You can visit the Graduate Student Services website at for an online application or call them at (330) 672-2576.

You need to be accepted to both the TTW program through the CITE and the College and Graduate School of Education, Health, and Human Services before you can start taking TTW coursework.
