Dual Enrollment Programs
Welcome to Kent State University Dual Enrollment Programs!
Dual Enrollment Programs' mission is aligned with the University's mission through collaboration with Ohio high schools to offer college credit classes to qualified Ohio high school students. We work collaboratively with students, parents and school counselors to help students earn college credit that in most instances will also count for high school credit towards graduation. In most cases, students who are able to earn college credit in high school have fewer student loans and persist to graduation at higher rates than students who do not earn college credit while in high school.
Dual Enrollment Programs include the Post-secondary Enrollment Options program (PSEOP) and the Dual Credit program. Admissions criteria include a 3.0 or higher GPA, and an ACT composite score of 23 or combined reading and math score of 1070 on the SAT.
Additional opportunities available through Dual Enrollment Programs include the Foreign Language Academy (FLA), Health Professions Affinity Community (HPAC), Science Experience Internship, the Portage County College Access Network, and the Cleveland Clinic partnership.
Congratulations for choosing Kent State University!
