Seating

General Seating

  • Guest seating for the Commencement ceremony is general admission. 
  • Doors will close at the start of the ceremony and remain closed until the completion of the processional.
  • The Loge is available for the guests with small children. Toys are provided and the children are free to move about the space.
  • Seating in the alternate viewing locations is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Special Accommodation Seating

  • Graduates who will need special accommodations to participate in the ceremony should contact University Ceremonies by e-mail at graduate@kent.edu. 
  • Special accommodation seating for guests is available upon the graduates request and must be indicated when the graduate orders their tickets.
  • University Ceremonies will reserve two seats for each special accommodation request and provide a drop off parking permit via the graduates email on August 8, 2014.
  • Guests with reserved special accommodation seating need to arrive to the MAC Center 1 hour before the ceremony start time with their ticket.  Upon arrival, an usher will escort the guest(s) to their seat. Please note that wheelchairs are not provided in the MAC Center or the alternate viewing locations.
