The Flight Technology minor is for students who wish to secure the Commercial Pilot certificate from Kent State University's renowned CFR Part 141 Flight Training Program. Upon completion, students are expected to have the Commercial Pilot certificate, which is necessary for professional work as a commercial pilot.

Students graduating with this minor will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of fundamental aeronautical concepts and practices; understand attributes of a modern aviation professional; and possess the knowledge and skills to obtain a Commercial Pilot Airplane Multiengine Land with Instrument rating. 

 

Graduation Requirement: minimum 2.000 GPA overall required.
