The Visual Journalism minor teaches the basic photography, videography and page layout design for newspapers and magazines.

Requirement to declare minor: Minimum 2.000 cumulative Kent State University GPA; or, if a first semester freshman or transfer student admitted in good standing, no established Kent State University GPA is needed. This minor is open only to students with a major within the College of Communication and Information. Minimum 2.700 GPA in the minor required for graduation.
