The Primary Care Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist certificate prepares nurses who already have a master's degree in nursing to be an advanced practice nurse in the sub-specialty of pediatric clinical nurse specialist for the professional role in the care of infants, children and adolescents. After completing 630 clinical hours and the complete plan of study, graduates are eligible to apply for the national certification examination
