* Theory Placement Exam may place students into Theory Practicum. This undergraduate course does not count towards degree credit and must be taken in addition to the graduate Music Theory requirement.

** Applied Music: Students register for 4 credit hours of Applied Music in two of the semesters and register for 2 credit hours of Applied Music in the two semesters in which they register for recital.

*** Ensemble: String players will register for Orchestra every semester. Piano choose from Music Ensembles, Chamber Music, Piano Accompanying. Voice may register for Opera Workshops.

**** Recital: Students register for 2 credit hours of Applied Music courses in the two semesters in which they register for recital.
