The Dance minor provides students with a brief understanding of dance through its contemporary applications. An audition is required to be accepted into the minor.

*Students electing to complete the 10 credit hours in DAN 37067 Ballet III-A or DAN 37068 Modern Dance Technique III-A must complete the prerequisites DAN 27172 Ballet II-B and/or DAN 27171 Modern Dance Technique II-B.

To advance to the next class level, students must achieve minimum B (3.000) grade in technique and be recommended for promotion by the instructor(s)

Advancement into upper-level technique courses by special approval of instructor.

Minimum 2.250 GPA in the minor required for graduation
