The Park Management minor prepares students to have specialties in their careers in outdoor recreation and parks. Emphasis is on sustainably managing parks and other natural environments for human enjoyment, environmental education and ecological diversity. This minor can relate to a variety of public agencies and non-profit organizations such as the National Park Service, the U.S. Forest Service, state and local park agencies, the Nature Conservancy, as well as private outfitters, guiding services, residential campus, Outward Bound and National Outdoor Leadership School. The program provides students knowledge, skills and abilities through coursework and hands-on field-based experiences.

Minimum 2.250 GPA required for admission to minor. Minimum 2.250 GPA in minor required for graduation.
