The Flight Technology minor is for students who wish to secure the Commercial Pilot certificate from Kent State University's renowned CFR Part 141 Flight Training Program. Upon completion, students are expected to have the Commercial Pilot certificate, which is necessary for professional work as a commercial pilot.

Minimum 2.000 GPA overall required for minor. Students must also have a 2.000 GPA overall to register for flight courses.
