Graduate Programs

The College of Arts and Sciences has the largest and most diverse graduate programming at Kent State University. Graduate programs are offered in the natural sciences and mathematics, the social sciences, and the humanities.

Whatever you want to study, the College of Arts and Sciences likely has a graduate program for you. Just a few examples include:

  • The creation, organization, and use of human knowledge, belief, and behavior
  • Understand living organisms and their organization, life processes, and relationships to each other and their environment
  • Develop symbolic tools to understand, represent, and describe fundamental relationships
  • Study, model, and understand natural and physical phenomena
  • Explore the maintenance of health, well-being, and the prevention of illness and dysfunction
  • Understand the impacts which constitutions, legislative acts, judicial decisions, support service, voter initiatives, have at the community, regional, state, national, or international level
