Ye Zhao

Associate Professor

I am an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at
the Kent State University. I received B.E. and M.S. degrees in
computer science from the Tsinghua University of China in 1997 and
2000. I further received my PhD degree in computer science from the
Stony Brook University in 2006. My research interests include
natural phenomena modeling, physically-based simulation and
visualization, data and information visualization, image and
geometric processing, and general purpose computing on graphics
hardware (GPGPU).

My research is currently supported by NSF for fluid simulation and visualization system, and by Ohio Board of Regents for visual analytics. I am working with several PhD and Master students at the Visualization and Graphics Lab of Kent State.
