Urban Design at Kent State University in the College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED) includes advanced studies in the design of cities and is focused upon improving quality of life for people. Far reaching global concerns and regional concerns integrate in the educational structure of the programs. Each program is primarily located at the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative (CUDC). The CUDC is the combined home of Kent State’s graduate program in urban design and the public service activities of the Urban Design Center of Northeast Ohio (UDC). Opportunities for assistantship with the CUDC are available.
