Michael Mayo is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Kent State University and has taught international marketing, marketing management, sales, international business and marketing ethics in the undergraduate, graduate and executive development programs. His research interests include international marketing, ethics and sales.
His work has been published in The Academy of Marketing Science, The Journal of Business Research, The Journal of Personal Sales and Sales Management as well as a number of other peered reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He has served as Chair of the KSU Marketing Department and currently is the Director of Kent State University's Global Management Center.
Since 1996, Dr Mayo has worked as a consultant for the United Nation's International Trade Center to help develop and deliver purchasing/supply chain management and global competitiveness programs in Africa and Asia. From 2000 to 2002 he was a consultant on a U.S. Information Agency grant to assist Russian universities to expand their institutional missions and work with the business community to support regional economic development.
