Dr. Dumpe is a former United States Air Force officer and flew for six years as a crew member on EC-135A/G/C Airborne Command Post aircraft. He then went on to be the third generation owner of a family business and the CFO of a manufacturing company prior to entering academics. Dr. Dumpe has held faculty and administrative positions at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA, at Lake Erie College in Painesville, OH, and at Kent State University. He has a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Capital University in Columbus, a M.S. in Management from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in International Economics from Kent State University. His wife of over thirty five years, Michelle, and he has two grown children.
