Learn more about the accounting program
The curriculum of Kent State University’s accounting program is designed to provide the student with a solid foundation in accounting theory necessary for entry-level positions and career advancement after earning an accounting degree at Kent State. It encompasses a common body of concepts, conventions, principles, and theories essential to the professional competency of the certified public accountant, controller, industrial accountant, institutional accountant, and governmental accountant. The student is enabled to continue effective professional development through the more specialized programs provided by employers or through the graduate studies accounting program.
