Alfred Guiffrida

Associate Professor

Alfred L. Guiffrida is an Associate Professor of Management in the Department of Management and Information Systems at Kent State University and teaches in the areas of Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Statistics. He holds his Ph.D., M.S. and B.S. degrees all in Industrial Engineering from the University at Buffalo (SUNY) and an MBA in Management Science from Virginia Tech. His papers have been published in Applied Mathematical Modelling, The Engineering Economist, European Journal of Operational Research, Industrial Marketing Management, Information Resources Management Journal,  Information Systems and Operational Research, International Journal of Business Performance and Supply Chain Modelling, International Journal of Logistics and Applications, International Journal of Integrated Supply Management, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Business and Economics, Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, and International Transactions in Operations Research. His research interests are in the areas of operations and supply chain management. He is a member of CORS, DSI, INFORMS and POMS.
