Amelia earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Anthropology as well as Marketing and International Business minors from Kent State University in 2008. Her focus in anthropology led her to pursue a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a Marketing concentration. While earning her MBA, she worked as a graduate assistant for the Undergraduate Programs Office in the College of Business Administration. Because she enjoyed her responsibilities in this role, she decided to stay in higher education after earning her MBA in 2010. As an academic advisor, she offers guidance to all levels of students so they can decide on the best path toward graduation. She helps with the administrative side of graduation, from communicating to students to clearing them for their degrees in addition to regular advising duties. She also organizes and analyzes data retrieved from a variety of student surveys in order to help the college better answer the needs of students.
