What made you want to start your business/nonprofit? I have had an interest in programming for a long time. I especially have a passion for web and iOS development. I met a business partner who has a skill set that perfectly complimented mine and now we are moving on website and mobile application development and design.

What do you consider your greatest business/nonprofit success/accomplishment?

Getting our first application as a company submitted to the app store. It’s a simple Tic Tac Toe game meant only to get comfortable together, but it is our first project working together as a business and that’s pretty exciting!

How has Blackstone LaunchPad helped your business? I have met with Kate from the BLP on several occasions. She has been very helpful in guiding me along the process of starting our business as well as getting me in touch with people from KSU who might be helpful in our venture.

What made you want to start your business/nonprofit? Wanted to start something in college and I've always loved t-shirts.  I was working as a university Representative at the time for a screen printing company and thought to myself, why am I working for someone else? I can do this myself. 

What do you consider your greatest business/nonprofit success/accomplishment?

I would say expanding into the area of custom design.  This allows us to fill custom orders in addition to our retail products, which broadens us up a little bit, giving us higher potential growth.

How has Blackstone LaunchPad helped your business? LaunchPad has helped us with all sorts of things including organization, event planning, legal information, networking, new ideas, publicity, etc.  We would strongly recommend working with them to anybody who wants to start a business.

What made you want to start your business/nonprofit? Experience I & II made me want to start Belle's.  And I have always wanted to own my own business.

What do you consider your greatest business/nonprofit success/accomplishment? Our greatest achievement would be a tie between being granted funds multiple times from the Center of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation, and having our products featured by VegNews Magazine and VegWorld, And finally, sparking interest overseas in Sweden and being invited to "Natural and organic products Europe: London's Event in April.

How has Blackstone LaunchPad helped your business? Blackstone Launchpad has been a great help with polishing investor pitches (Burton D. Morgan) and helping hone my sales call/sales rep skills.  Blackstone has also been key in getting word of Belle's spread through various publications.  And finally, helping me to feel more confident/prepared as an entrepreneur.

What made you want to start your business/nonprofit? I have always had a passion for encouraging young women. So I started limitless Ambition, which is a non-profit dedicated to motivating women to dream without limits through academic assistance, career coaching, and mentorship programs.  

What do you consider your greatest business/nonprofit success/accomplishment?

Our greatest accomplishments are launching our website and making an impact on the community. The purpose of LimitlessAmbition.com is to offer career coaching, academic assistance, and emotional support/resources to young women and teens all over the world. The website is a place for women to come and find the tools they need to heal from their pain, pursue passion, and dream without limits. We have also done a lot of academic and character building workshops with teens in the community.

How has Blackstone LaunchPad helped your business? I reached out to LaunchPad in the very beginning stages of my Non-Profit organization. Launch Pad helped me to organize my ideas and develop a business strategy. They also gave me a number of resources and tools to help me with the development of my organization. The wonderful staff of Launch Pad literally helped me make my dream come true!
