Blackstone LaunchPad at Kent State promotes entrepreneurship as a viable career path. We support Kent State entrepreneurship by helping KSU students, faculty/staff, and alumni transform their ideas into thriving businesses. Through meetings, mentoring, workshops and events LaunchPad helps create new businesses or grow existing start-ups in Northeast Ohio.
Blackstone LaunchPad is based on a successful program developed at the University of Miami. Funding for this program is made possible through The Blackstone Charitable Foundation and The Burton D. Morgan Foundation. These foundations have a commitment to invest in organizations and institutions that foster entrepreneurship, creating job growth and economic activity.
