Sue Yoder

NTT Lecturer

Sue Hershberger Yoder is a printmaker and textile designer whose work explores
the boundaries between art and design. She has worked for more than a decade
creating prints for fashion companies including Nike in Portland and BCBG,
Bebe, Theonne, and Trina Turk in Los Angeles. Her print designs for women’s
apparel have been published in numerous magazines including Elle, InStyle,
Vanity Fair, Interview, and Vogue. Sue previously taught art and design at
schools including New York University, Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA),
Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), and Syracuse University,
where she also obtained her MFA in fine art printmaking. Before working in
fashion, she collaborated with Robert Blackburn at The Printmaking Workshop in
NYC and earned an MA in printmaking with Krishna Reddy at NYU. Sue has
pieces in numerous collections including the Library of Congress Print Archive.
She exhibits her work widely and continues to create prints for the fashion
