Anne Nelson is a graduate of The Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman School of Fashion Design and Merchandising at Kent State University with a BA in Fashion Design and a minor in Business. Anne has many years of industry experience focusing in CAD Design at various trade levels, from a major department store to a popular specialty retailer in the ‘Tween’ market to free-lance work. She has advanced training in the CAD program U4ia by Lectra.
Anne joined Kent State’s part-time faculty in 2005. She enjoys sharing her professional experience with her students through the instruction of CAD for Fashion at the upper level. She has also instructed various other undergraduate courses including Workroom Techniques and Fashion Merchandising Presentations.
