The Annual Postcard Collage Show is a small format (4”x6”), invitational exhibition that gives each participating National Collage Society member an opportunity to display one original collage they select for entry.
The National Collage Society, Inc. (NCS, Inc.) is an art foundation formed to foster the appreciation and interest in the art medium of collage. The NCS, Inc. promotes the advancement of collage as a major art medium and assists in the education of the public through exhibits, workshops, lectures and publications.Gretchen Bierbaum, president of the National Collage Society, is hosting a Collage Techniques Workshop on Friday, June 21, and Saturday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The workshops will be held at the Downtown Gallery.
Collage in All Dimensions - Techniques to Alter and Transfer Images, the techniques book written by Bierbaum, will be used at this workshop.
