TKS Information

Your college journey continues at Transfer Kent State! Learn more about what to expect, what to bring and what to know before arriving on campus.

Transfer student orientation is split into two parts:

  • TKS KickStart: These are required online pre-orientation modules where you will learn how to prepare for your academic advising appointment at during your TKS visit and learn more about campus resources.

  • Transfer Kent State: During your in-person TKS orientation, you will meet with your academic advisor to discuss academic goals, your transfer credit and then register for classes. You will also be introduced to important university resources and opportunities for leadership and engagement.

You can find your TKS KickStart modules in Canvas. It is strongly encouraged to complete all modules before your scheduled TKS date.

You can log in to Canvas using your FlashLine credentials. If you need help using Canvas, visit our Canvas webpage for information.
