2013 OMIC Immersion Internship Program
The OMIC Immersion Internship Program is funded through the Ohio Means Internships and Co-ops Grant (OMIC). The Grant is designed to support Northeast Ohio’s industrial economy while developing and utilizing college students’ knowledge and skills.
Students can work in a variety of capacities for companies that represent the following industries:
Hour Requirements & Rate of Pay
Entry/Level 1 – At this level, students will support your company with a small project or activity that requires a 50-75 hours of student engagement. Students in this category are eligible to receive a maximum $600 stipend. ($8-12/hr)
Intermediate/Level 2 – At this level, students who have more advanced skills will support your company with one or two bigger projects or activities for 100-125 hours. Students in this category are eligible to receive a maximum $1,200 stipend. ($9.60-12/hr)
Highly Specialized/Level 3 – At this level, advanced or experienced students will support your company with multiple projects or activities for a minimum of 180-200 hours. Students in this category are eligible to receive a maximum $2,200 stipend. ($11-12.22/hr)
