    Department of Pan-African Studies 42nd Annual New Student Reception and Cookout The Department of Pan-African Studies (DPAS) will hold their annual cookout and student reception Friday, August 22, 2014 at 5 PM until 8 PM, in front of Ritchie Hall on the green.  As part of the University wide weekend of welcome, the Department of Pan-African Studies extend an invitation to students, faculty, staff and the greater KSU community to network and have some fun prior to the start of a new semester.The Cookout and Reception is designed with new students in mind, there will be vendors, informational tables to showcase student organizations as well as information on the department.
